Since learning how to sew at high school many years ago under the supervision of the very fierce Mrs Arden I have always used this make of thread..
Her mantra was use good quality thread and a good quality machine and you can sew anything - she was right.
Used for making cushion covers for a renovated outside egg chair - chair looks fabulous and worth the time sanding frame, painting then de seaming original cushions to use as templates for new covers x

Informative and fun
I've just completed my four getting to know my new machine sessions. Thank you Pam at Hereford for your patience and good humour when I repeatedly failed my machine driving test. However by lesson four I had completed all the challenges and been supported through the traumatic experience of taking bits of my machine apart to clean it. Thank you once again Pam and Hobbycraft - to be recommended

Perfect for hand sewing and machine sewing.
I bought this to use on my machine to make a baby playmat and it was perfect for the job. I've pulled hard on the stitching (to test that it is baby proof!) and it is holding fantastically.

Gutermann Sew All Thread!
Great thread in a wide range of colours that literally SEWS ALL!
I was able to take up some new curtains with the exact shade of silver grey, that made the stitching DISAPPEAR!

Good quality all round thread
I really like Gutermann thread as I can use it on any fabric and it never splits or frays. A good quality all round thread and the offer of 3 for 2 makes it a very good price.

My favourite.
I only use Gutterman thread. It is high quality and is excellent for machine or hand sewing. The half price event was my excuse to buy lots of reels.
