Rated 5 out of 5 by Chimpchoker from As ever great quality and great service I needed some strong thread for an upholstery project and I wasn't able to buy any in my home town so it was a trip to Teesside Park to Hobbycraft to purchase my thread. Gutterman threads are top notch anyway but the fact that I had to drive 30 miles to buy a bobbin of cotton says many things. 1 my town doesn't have a Hobbycraft store and thankfully Hobbycraft stock such a great range of products. Of course I only wanted 1 bobbin but they were on special offer... half price... so I had to, nay NEEDED to buy another 4 bobbins of different colours... just in case I needed them... Thank you Hobbycraft. You helped me finish a university module on time and to deadline... and with a really friendly staff member to serve me.

I had snapped 3 lots of thread when pulling together the bows I was making so I was a bit skeptical when the assistant recommended this thread. But after using it for the first time it is now my stable thread for everything. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because of the pricw.

I had looked in my local shops but weren't impressed with what was on offer. So I tried Hobbycraft and found a thread that has worked a treat. So thank you Hobbycraft for supplying all the things that anyone could think of all types of jobs. Well done.

However I used it for quilting a small child's quilt very effectively, and also to sew in zips on garments for a young adult with special needs. Good to know there is such a strong thread available, you need larger needles due to the diameter of the thread.

Would use again. I was making a bag which came up really nicely.
