Don't quilt without this!
All of my patchwork quilts are entirely hand-sewn and I regard this thread as an essential item in my sewing kit.
It doesn't tangle, passes smoothly through the fabric, and threads easily, even when using very fine needles. Once you've used it you won't consider quilting with any other thread!

I'm new to quilting. I didn't know why you needed special thread but after using this is can see why. It's less likely to tangle and is strong. I'm happy with my purchase and have been back to the store to get another colour. I also got quilting sewing machines needles. All great value.

Forever reliable
I’ve been using Gutermann quilting thread for 25 years. It’s softer than some of the newer brands but still strong- as I discovered long ago when I tried to ‘snap’ it as you can with standard sewing thread!
It never frays when sewing. I not only use it for quilting but also for other craft projects where I need a strong thread which isn’t too thick.
If j could use it in my sewing machine it would be perfect!

This thread does the job I need it to do .
I use it for quilting free motion and never had a problem, no thread breakages and produces a fantastic quilt stitch which if you lengthen your stitch it looks handsewn . Robust thread which I rely on time and time again with my free motion quilting.

Excellent strength thread
I bought this to make a velvet pumpkin with as it needed to be strong when I pulled the thread to gather the velvet - it worked very well - I’d recommend this
