Done the Job.
Great item, slightly smaller in diameter than I required but I was using it to replace a Mast on a model Boat so it wasn't that much of a dilemma, easy to cut and sand down and after I finished it looked even better than the broken one I had replaced.

Dowel
Good. I cut it and used on top of my advent calendar, doing what I bought for. Cutting was easy, I don’t have any specific tool so I used a knife and a hammer and smooth the edges without any difficulty.
