A commission for a hundred meters of bunting this summer found me wanting and so of course I went to Hobbycraft. I knew I would get the widest choice in store as well as expert help and advice. The assistant recommended these having listened carefully to my expectation and past disasters with other pins. It didn’t matter to her that I wasn’t buying an expensive machine and she guided and made the entire experience a pleasure. The product is EXACTLY fit for purpose. Long, very strong and with bright big heads that don’t get lost in my work or sink beyond reach in my pin cushion. I’m so pleased with this tiny object that has really enhanced my sewing. Pin money well spent. Good job Hobbycraft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eyepie from Nice and long I use these for a variety of tasks and find them excellent for cleaning the tips of outliner tubes that have dried up. Like the fact they have big heads as they are easier to see and pick up if dropped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stromache from Does what you'd expect. I use these pins for blocking out knitting and crotchet. They are long and flat and sit nicely, as you'd expect from pins. The only gripe I have with them is if you don't pull them out just right and straight, it doesn't take much for the flower head to snap off. It's only a tiny piece of plastic holding them on and once they've snapped it's pretty useless. Not a common enough occurrence however to cause a major pain.

Whilst these have been the best of the bunch, Half the pack we’re still a little rough which when you’re using delicate fabric is far from ideal. How hard can it be to make a smooth pin which doesn’t pull or snag the fabric it’s designed for?
