A great machine.
I had a brother machine that had done me well as a hobby machine for 20 years, I was so upset when it finally died.
I kept looking at the computerised Singer but when I read what the HC 100s did and compared it to the Singer I realised I’d not really be getting anything different other then a larger price tag with the Singer.
The Machine is so very simple to use and stitchers smoothly. I Love that there’s no need to use the foot pedal if l don’t want to. As an amputee the foot pedal on any machine can give me nerve paid.
Overal this is a great machine, not a purchase that I regret and glad I went with an own brand machine instead of a branded machine for twice the price.

Lovely Machine
I purchased the Hobbycraft 100s sewing machine about 4 weeks ago, but sadly, I have not had a chance to actually use it for any projects. I have turned it on and tested it a bit and all appears to be fine. The machine is light weight and quiet. It seems very user friendly and comes with a sizeable instruction manual for setting up and for stitching. One of the best features is the start and stop button. The reverse button will also be very handy.
I haven't used a sewing machine for many years. I am retired and now have lots of time to get reacquainted. I choose this machine because it's straight forward enough for beginners and can support more than above basic sewing projects for intermediate to advance sewers.
Looking forward to many days of happy sewing.

This machine will level up your sewing skills
This is the first time I've used a computerised machine, having always used a singer I'd been skeptical. But after just a few minutes of using the 100s, I've been converted!
Some fab features including automatic needle threader, one step buttonhole, simple top loading bobbin, its reasonably quiet compared to my singer and it has 100 stitches (including hearts!!)
But can we just talk about the fact that I don't have to use a pedal?! Amazing!! There is a start/stop button in exactly the right place for my right thumb to just pop up to switch it on or off whilst still holding the fabric with my fingers. You can adjust the speed of the stitching too which is fab. It does come with a pedal but at the time of writing this I've just been using the button as its a lot easier!
But the best feature is the needle always finishes in the upright position!
This machine although a top end product, would suit an intermediate sewer it would also be a fantastic starter machine as it simplifies so many things.

Hobby crafts 100s computerised machine.
My old machine died right in the middle of making a dress! I read all the reviews between this one and a Singer ( which is what I had ) and when I looked at it in store I decided to have this one. So far it’s performance is really good, has lots of different stitches with different lengths and widths to pick from. I like the fact you can sew quite slowly if you want using the slide button. Auto threader is a bit tricky but getting use to it now. Bobbin is different too as you put it in anti clockwise to thread it. New to me is the fact you don’t need to use the foot pedal to sew, you can use a button instead! A little bit lower then my old machine, between the top of the sewing plate and the underside of the top, if that makes sense? All in all, a good machine that I’m very happy with .

Wow! Love this machine!
Wow! What a great machine and such a great price when you compare to similar on the market.
Was very easy to set up and the manual that comes with the machine is simple and easy to work through combining visual aswell as written instructions to support individual learning styles.
A wide range of beautiful stitches and I love 'pressing the button' to sew rather than the foot peddle. Other great features include the needle threader and the needle up/down position. I had a Pfaff machine prior to this and was a little unsure with this being an ownbrand machine, however, I am not disappointed. I love 😍 this machine!!!

Very good and quiet machine
I am still trying to get into this machine but so far I'm loving it except the needle threader seems to be a bit faulty as it needs a small push to make it thread....It's got 100 stitches but haven't got that far yet. Very easy instructions with diagrams on each one.

Easy to use even if out of practice.
Bought this machine a couple of weeks ago after not sewing for 40 years! So easy to use and makes returning to sewing a pleasure. I’ve already made a bag, a sleeveless top for the summer and taken up a dress. I’m writing this review to reassure anyone pondering (as I was) over whether they should take the plunge.
