These picture bead crown hair clips are the perfect topper for any princess. They don't take long to make and the designs are endless so make a bunch of them to go with all your royal outfits! Bear in mind that you will need to work quite quickly to bend the beads into a crown shape whilst it is still warm and pliable.

Step-1

Begin by creating the outline of the crown. Place a line of beads across the board to form the bottom, then add a row of 7 beads onto each end to form the sides of the crown. Add a zig-zag line across the top to form the points of the crown.

Step-2

Fill in the rest of the design, making sure there are no gaps in the crown. We added blue and pink beads to the middle to resemble jewels.

Step-3

When you're happy with your design, put your iron on and cut two pieces of grease-proof paper to the size of your board. Place one piece on top of your design and melt the beads together gently, following the manufacturers instructions. Turn the crown over and remove it from the board, then repeat to seal the back.

Step-4

Whilst the crown is still hot, bend it around the jar so the two ends meet and use masking tape to hold the crown in place. Leave to cool.
