To access the project, copy and paste the link into your browser, you will be directed to a Cricut landing page, select 'Open' followed by 'Open Cricut Design Space Application'.
The app will open (you may be prompted to log in) and the project overview screen will appear.
Select 'Customise'.
Once through to the Canvas screen, re-size and 'Duplicate' the components as desired.
Once happy click 'Make It' in the top right-hand corner.
You'll then be taken through to the mat preview screen, check everything is present and correct before clicking 'Continue'.
Dependent on what size cardstock you are using some of the mats may need to be amended to reflect this. To do this, select the relevant mat and then the correct material size from the drop-down menu. This will need to be completed for each mat colour.
Once through to the machine set up screen, follow the on-screen instructions to cut out each of the design elements making sure to change the cut material as and when needed.
Top Tip: Pay special attention to the blades and tools you'll need to insert in your machine, as this will vary from mat to mat.
When cutting the Cricut Heavy Chipboard, use the purple StrongGrip cutting mat, and secure the sheet using masking tape on all four sides.
Slide the star wheels on your machine to one side, and then load your mat followed by the Knife Blade, keep an eye on the cut as it progresses.
Once everything has been cut, carefully remove the elements from the mats.
Start by creating the main body of the treat boxes by folding along the score lines on the carrots.
Top Tip: If you have one, use a scraper tool to help ensure crisp folds, by running the tool along the folded score line.
Use a glue gun to secure the tab in place to form the body of the carrot.
Take the green carrot stems and cut them in half using a sharp pair of scissors.
Layer the light green cradstock over the dark and offset slightly, gently roll the pieces of cardstock up and secure the end with a little glue from a glue gun.
Splay or curl the ends.
Add a blob of glue to the base of the carrot top and add to the top of the carrot treat box, hold in place for a few seconds while the glue sets.
Take the cut letters and secure them to the scored cardstock banner using a glue pen.
Apply double-sided tape to the chipboard banner and then apply the 'Happy Easter' banner over the top, taking care to match up the edges before securing the two together.
Then secure the banner centrally to the front of the crate using a glue gun, hold in place for a few seconds, until the glue has set.
Plait nine lengths of white twine and attach them to the crate on either side using a double-knot.
Add raffia to the crate followed by the carrot treat boxes!
