Step 2

Once you have opened the project you'd like to use, you're able to change the size and colour scheme of the faces on the canvas. Why not mix and match the eyes, noses and mouths to create your own combination?

Simply ungroup the elements and move them about on the canvas until you are happy with your combination and then proceed to attach them so they keep their place when cutting. Remeber to hide the layers you aren’t cutting out.

Tip: Don’t forget to mirror your faces at the cutting screen stage as you are using iron on vinyl.

Step 3
Cut all the pieces out and weed the iron on vinyl.

Step 4

Now it's time to add your faces! If you are doing a face with different colour layers, start with the back layers first, carefully lining up the vinyl on your pumpkin.

Use a heat protective sheet to keep your press from scorching the fabric. Following the recommended heat settings for the iron on vinyl you are using, use a heat press to adhere your design to the pumpkin.

Step 5

After applying the base layer, use the heat press to add top layer details such as white bits to the eyes and rosy cheeks.

Ensure the vinyl is properly adhered to the fabric, you should be able to see the grain of the fabric through the iron on vinyl.
