Moon and Star Card: Step 1

Start by folding a sheet of blue card in half to create the base of the card.

Then, draw a moon and star shape onto the back of the gold card and cut them out. Using glue, stick them to the front of the card using the image as a guide.

Moon and Star Card: Step 2

Select a few different colours of tissue paper and rip it into small pieces. Then, scrunch them to make little tissue paper balls.

Using glue, stick the tissue paper balls to the surface of the gold shapes.

Lantern Card: Step 1

Start by folding a sheet of blue card in half to create the base of the card.

Print out the lantern and door template above and cut it out.

Lantern Card: Step 2

Stick the lantern to the front of the card using a glue stick.

Draw a candle in the centre of the lantern using a felt tip pen.

Decorate the rest of the lantern however you like. We've used felt tip pens, but you could use glitter, card, paint or colouring pencils!

Lantern Card: Step 3

Fold along one of the long edges of each of the doors (about half a centimeter). Turn them over and fold the other way along the same crease - this will ensure the doors can be opened easier.

Glue along the folded tabs on the doors and attach to the lantern.

You can now decorate the doors (inside and outside). Make sure you wait for the glue to dry fully before opening them or gifting your card.
