Carrot Body (make 2)
Using 'Orange' and 4.5mm hook, ch13.
Round 1: 1htr in 3rd ch from hook, 9htr, [7htr in last ch], 10htr (working back along the bottom of the chain), slst into first ch, slst into the top of the first htr.
Rnd 2: Slst in next 2 sts, 2dc, 4htr, 3tr, [2htr in next st], 1htr, [2htr in next st], 1htr, 3tr, 4htr, 2dc, slst in each remaining st.
Fasten off.
With the second side, leave a long tail.

Place the two carrot sides back to back with the right sides facing out. Sew the two sides together using one loop from each carrot side following an over and under stitch.
Once you have stitched down one side and around the top of the carrot add a small amount of stuffing to give the carrot a 3D shape.
Stitch around the remaining edge of the carrot and then sew in the ends.

Carrot Top
Attach 'Green' to the top of the carrot by threading it through the top middle space and tie it on.
Push your hook through the same space from front to back and pull through a loop of yarn and then ch10.
Slst back into the same space then ch12.
Slst back into the same space then ch10.
Slst one last time into the same space.
Fasten off. Sew in all ends.

Putting the Garland Together
Make 8 pom poms (or the required number for your garland) in 'Green' using a 3.5 cm pom pom maker.
Cut a length of twine to your desired length. The garland pictured is 156cm long. Thread the twine through a yarn needle.
Using the needle, alternate threading on the pom poms and carrots, leaving space in between them and at each end. In the garland pictured, there is 14cm at either end of the galand and approx 7cm in between each carrot and pom pom.
When threading the carrots put the needle through the top of the carrots, from side to side about two stitches down from the centre point.
When threading on the pom poms, ensure you are threading through the centre and support the pom poms well with your hand as you pull the twine through. Some of the pom pom yarn may be displaced and you may need to do some further trimming to make it neat again.
Tie a knot at each end of the twine to finish your garland.
