Pineapple body (make 2): Using yellow, ch 28, Row 1 (Rs): dc in 4th ch, 3 dc cl in same ch,ch 1, sk next ch, 4 dc-cl in next ch, ch 1, *sk next ch, 4 dc-cl in next ch, ch 1, rep from, working 4 dc-cl in last ch, turn (13 4 dc cl and 12 ch 1 sps)

Increase Row Row 2: Ch 3, 3 dc cl in first ch -1 sp, 4 dc-cl in same ch sp (increase made) ch 1, *sk next dc-cl, 4 dc-cl in next ch 1- sp, ch 1, rep from, working two 4 dc-cl in last ch-1 sp, turn (15 4 dc cl and 14 ch 1 sps) Rows 3-5: Repeat row 2 (21 4 dc-cl and 12 ch 1 sps)

Assembly: Take your two pineapple pieces, flatten pillow and join yellow with a ss to one end of the yellow color part. Working through both the back and front corresponding sts, sc through both pieces.

Step-18

Make cushion inner by tracing pineapple shape onto polycotton lining; stitch 2 cm seams at the side and top leaving bottom open. Place into pineapple and stuff with toy filling, then stitch remaining seam closed Fasten off and weave in any remaining ends.
