How to Crochet a Valentine's Day Banner

How to make
* Knitcraft Lilac Cotton Blend Plain DK Yarn 100g
* Knitcraft Purple Cotton Blend Plain DK Yarn 100g
* Knitcraft White Cotton Blend Plain DK Yarn 100g
* Knitcraft Hot Pink Everyday DK Yarn 50g
* DMC Tapestry Needles Size 13 2 Pack
* Scissors
* Easy Grip Crochet Hook 4mm x 14cm
* A Wooden Dowl
Start with white yarn.
R1. Ch61, turn.
R2. DC in 2nd Ch from the hook & in each St to the end, Ch1, turn. (60Dc)
R3-5. DC in each St to the end, Ch1, turn. (60Dc)
Begin working chart, making sure you work from right to left on RS rows and left to right on WS rows.
Continue to work in dc rows in white only until a further 9 rows have been worked from the end of the chart.
Fasten off
Before attaching the wall hanging to the dowel, you may need to block your work.
Sew in all the ends with the tapestry needle & attach to your dowel with a loop stitch.
Make 32 tassels (8x orange, 8x hot pink, 8x purple and 8x lilac).
Do this by cutting 16x 50cm lengths of each colour, folding them in half and looping them through each of the starting Ch at the bottom of the wall hanging.
Once all of the tassels have been attached, carefully cut to a point as pictured.
