How To Make A Christmas Bauble
It's time to start thinking about how to decorate your home for Christmas. These baubles were designed by Rebecca from @thepigeonsnest and will look amazing on your tree and will get you into the festive spirit.

Working in the round.
R1: MC 6st (6sts)
R2: 2 DC into each st (12sts)
R3: 2 DC into next st, DC into next st* repeat 6 times (18sts)
R4: 2 DC into next st, DC into the next 2 sts* repeat 6 times (24sts)
R5: 2 DC into next st, DC into the next 3 sts* repeat 6 times (30sts)
R6: 2 DC into next st, DC into the next 4 sts* repeat 6 times (36sts)
R7: DC around 36sts (36sts) R8 – R12: Alternating with different colours each round, DC around 36 sts. R13: DC into next 5 sts, DC2TOG in next st (30sts)
R8 – R12: Alternating with different colours each round, DC around 36 sts.
R13: DC into next 5 sts, DC2TOG in next st (30sts)
R14: DC into next 4 sts, DC2TOG in next st (25sts)
R15: DC into next 3 ts, DC2TOG into next st (20sts)

R16: DC into next st, DC2TOG into next st* repeat 5 times (10sts)
R17: DC2TOG till close.
Fasten off.
R1: MC 4
R2: 2DC in each st (8sts)
R3: 2DC in each st (16sts)
Fasten off with a long tail.
Using a large darning needle attach a piece of the metallic yarn through the top of the bauble. Using a crochet hook, pull it through the top of the toggle and tie together. This is your hanging loop. Move the knot to under the toggle to keep it neat. Using your needle, stitch the toggle to the bauble using the long tail you left after fastening off. Knot tightly and trim and tuck the remaining tail under the toggle.
