How to Make a Leather Bow Keyring
The Cricut Design Space is teaming with brilliant free downloadable templates that will get you up and crafting in no time at all! Sewing expert Kathi here shows the process from initial design, through to cutting and assembly, using a free to use bow keyring template. This Cricut project makes one leather bow, but can easily be duplicated in the 'Customise' option to cut as many as you need. For this project I created two faux leather and two real leather bows in a larger size.

How to make
In Design Space, open up the Pebbled Leather Bows project and click customise. Duplicate everything you need to make a bow and increase the size to approx 3″ in width. Separately increase the size of the rectangles to approx 2″ long.
Follow the prompts to cut your metallic leather, using a Strong Grip Mat.
Use a weeder tool to separate the cut pieces from the leather sheet.
Gather your pieces and keyrings and prepare to glue. Wrap the thin ends of the upper bow (the longest of the pieces) beneath its centre and glue in place.
Put a dab of glue in the centre of the smaller bow piece and stick the first bow on top.
Wrap the small rectangle piece around the centre of the bow and glue into place.
Wrap the keyring through the rectangle piece when the glue is fully dry, like you would when you attach a keyring to your keys.
