Step 3
Once melted pour into a piping bag, and pipe melted chocolate into mould. Fill each mini-Easter egg space to the top, making sure it is right to the edge. Knock the mould on the surface gently to get rid of any air bubbles. (If you don’t have a piping bag you can also use a spoon or spatula and spoon the melted chocolate into the mould).
Step 4
Scrape the mould with a scraper to scrape any excess chocolate off the mould. Put into the fridge for 30 minutes or until it’s set.

Step 5

Carefully pop the eggs out of the mould. Place a clean tray in the oven and heat oven at lowest setting or 50 Celsius, for 5 minutes.

Take tray out of the oven and place 2 mini eggs, flat side down on the tray. Be very quick as you don’t want the egg to melt. The flat sides of the egg will be slightly melted so that you can place them together. This method is used to stick them together. You can also melt more chocolate and place at the bottom of the egg to stick them together. Place back in the fridge and enjoy when you’re ready.

Step 6
You now have lots of delicious speckled chocolate mini eggs to eat!
