You Will Need
* White Macrame Cord
* White DK Yarn
* Gold Metallic Thread
* Tapestry Needle
* Tape Measure

Preparation
For one star:
5 x 10 cm White Macrame Cord
5 x 75cm White DK Yarn
5 x 75cm Gold Thread (Use only 3 threads for each section)
5 x 40cmWhite DK Yarn - to wrap the ends

Step 1
Gather together the 75cm gold thread and thin string.

Step 2
Place them 2cm from one end of the 10cm thick string, fold and start wrapping around, making sure there are no gaps between the string. Wrap until you have covered about 6cm and have 2cm unwrapped ends on both sides.

Step 3
With the help of a weaving needle feed the wrapping strings back through the strings and trim any excess.

Step 4
Repeat steps 1-3 four more times and bend each piece in half.

Step 5
Use the 40 cm strings to join the ends using a Gathering Knot.

Step 6
Take some gold thread and thread it through one end of the star and make a simple knot.
