Using cream yarn make 5 medium sized pom poms and 6 smaller pom poms.
Wrap the yarn evenly along one half of the pom-pom maker
Repeat on the other side.
Close the pom-pom maker and cut along the edges.
Cut a 30cm length of cream yarn to tie the pom-pom strands together.
Pull tightly and knot a few times to secure.
Remove from the pom-pom maker and trim to neaten the pom-poms. (Be careful not to trim the leftover yarn tails of the larger pom-poms as these will be used to tie them onto the garland later.)
Cut out 10 ear shapes using cream felt and 10 smaller ear shapes in pink felt, using the image as a guide. Glue the smaller pink shapes in the centre of the cream felt shapes. Now glue two ears to the top of the each large pom pom.
Cut a 140cm length of twine and thread through the centre of the small pom poms. Leave approx. 20cm space between each pom-pom. Attach the larger pom poms in the spaces in between the smaller pom-poms by tying them onto the twine. Knot and sew in the ends to finish.

Wrap all the way down not to tightly, leave another 7cm gap and knot and secure by threading the tail of the knot through the bundle with a darning needle. Repeat Step 1-3 over the next 3 arches, adding 4cm to each bundle of macrame yarn as you go and alternating the colours, make sure when wrapping the colours that all the ends are level with one another.
From the inner arch to the outer as followes:
Arch 1 – 14 pieces of macrame yarn, measuring 34cm wrapped in black.
Arch 2 – 14 pieces of macrame yarn, measuring 38cm wrapped in yellow.

Step 7 – With the yellow yarn make 4 Pom Poms and trim to the same fullness as the stripped Pom Poms.
Step 8 – To make yellow pom Poms into flowers, cut a flower shape out of white foam, you will need to make 4 of these.
Step 9 – With a glue gun, glue down the flower shape to one side of the yellow Pom Pom, repeat with the other 3 Pom Poms and foam shapes.
Step 10 – Cut a 1.5m length of twine, make a loop at one end and knot to secure. Take a darning needle and thread the needle with the twine attached through the first Pom Pom foam flower.
