How to Make Wedding Favour Jars
Wedding favours have come on in leaps and bounds in the past few years, with personalised gifts and favours now being given to reflect the bride and grooms personality. From packets of seeds for your guests to sow, to cute mini succulents and cacti, there are a million and one different things you could do.
These favours are great for couples with a sweet tooth! Whether you upcycle, recycle or buy your jars, they wouldn't be complete without a little bit of decoration, from tags to ribbons, adhesive gems to glass paint, you can really be adventurous when it comes to packaging.

How to make
Start by wrapping twine around the neck of the jar, and thread on your tag of choice. Secure with a double knot.
To create the mini tassel, wrap twine around four of your fingers, approximately 10 times (the thinner the twine the better!). Then thread around 15 centimetres of twine between your third and fourth finger and tie in a tight knot that goes around all of the threads (you may need an additional hand to help you here).
Cut the loop at the base that goes around your first finger, and trim any threads that are a little bit longer than others.
Thread some twine through the top loop of the tassel and then tie onto your jar.
For a simpler quicker design, wrap a length of ribbon around the middle of your jar, securing on the back using a glue gun.
Tie a length of twine/string around the neck of the jar and secure with a double knot on the front.
Thread your tag onto one of the two threads, and then secure with a bow.
