Rated 1 out of 5 by Auntie Noo from Disappointing knitting pattern Very disappointed in that Hobbycraft do not stock the Knitcraft Aran that goes with the pattern. I bought a different brand Aran that has the same gauge, and am having to knit 2 sizes down as my chosen size came out far too wide. So all in all, I cannot recommend the pattern.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kt888 from Nice cardigan with problems in the pattern There seems to be mistakes in this pattern that I'm having to put right as I go along, and their instructions for increasing and decreasing are incomprehensible, so I've done my own thing. The brioche stitch is very nice to look at and makes a very thick cardigan.

The pattern itself is not difficult, the difficulty lies with the fact it is badly written. Basic references of wrong and right side missing which is vital to the look of this pattern, minimal references to stitch count throughout the work, different pattern instructions blurred due to lack of punctuation, the list goes on. Increases and decreases might as well have been written in indecipherable code it is so hard to understand. I’ve had to watch videos by different people and attempt to make the pattern work. It continues to be a fight with the pattern and I have 1.5 sleeves to finish. Looks great, unsure if the struggle is worth it.

Very disappointed, unable to get required yarn from Hobbycraft so had to substitute. Complete waste of my time
