Making great plant hangers
We bought this macrame yarn so my 11 yr old daughter could make hanging pot holders for her house plants, having been inspired by pictures online. She's been able to follow online tutorials and make her first couple of simple hangers, but as she gets the hang of it she's going to attempt some more complex ones, adding beads etc. The first couple didn't work out, as she needed to cut more yarn than she expected, but there's loads on the ball, so she's still got more than enough left to keep practising, and turn her room into a houseplant paradise.

Good product but not all useable
I’m brand new to macrame and brought this cord to give it a go. Impressed with the quality, easy to use and looks great as a finished product. Made some plant hangers and seems to have handled holding a heavy pot well!
I was however very disappointed when I got to the end of the roll, as someone has sneakily tied two loose ends together, which meant I couldn’t use the last 3 metres for my project as it had an ugly knot in the middle! So the last bit was unusable and I had to buy another roll just to finish my project.

Pretty but not perfect
I bought some macrame yarn which was really aesthetically pleasing and turned out well except I expected to be able to fray this at the ends with a comb or something, instead it just falls apart when trying to fray.

Excellent cord but needs tweaking!
Lovely to work with and very suitable for all macrame projects. Reason for four stars rather than five, this cord is unable to be frayed, which for many macrame projects needing to be fringed, is required. If fraying isn't wanted, it's easy to secure the ends with a bit of tape whilst working, but it would be nice to have as a choice. Also, cord needs to be twisted to have a ply - either 3 or 4-ply so that strands can be separated for small pieces, etc.

Perfect
Just right and purpose made for macrame. Slides and holds form nicely.
I've managed 1 very ornate plant hanger per ball - 16 strings; 5m working line - with a smidge spare to use as contrast on another project.
Could easily do 2 smaller/less ornate.

Crochet baskets
Used this yarn in its various colours to crochet some round baskets. It was great and stiff enough so the sides of the baskets don’t fall in. It was a bit rough on the fingers, but worth a bit of a callous!

Love this cord as it is so soft and easy to work with I have combined the navy and ecru and made a lovely wall hanging. Very pleased.
I have bought several different colours and the quality and softness makes working with the cord a pleasure.

Made a lovely loom bag with this chord. Lovely creamy colour and bag looks lovely
I purchased this to use on my circular loom which I purchased from Hobby craft a few years ago. The bag looks lovely in this creamy coloured chord so much so it looks like macrame which is so on trend at the minute. The chord was lovely to work with I just wish there was more colours in this like red and blues as I definitely would buy more.
