Good wrapping paper
I bought this to wrap my christmas presents up with and to decorate with pretty ribbon and bows. The price of it for the amount you get is really good. It's such a nicer quality than the cheapy £1 shop stuff you can get and even has a loved lined/ribbed-look pattern to it which adds an extra touch of quality.

High Quality Kraft Paper!
This year, i decided to make my own hand printed christmas wrapping paper for my gifts using the kraft paper roll and essdee softcut lino from Hobbycraft. The kraft paper is so much thicker than other brands of kraft paper i tried from similar stores, and makes such a luxurious paper especially when used for gift wrapping! For my own gift wrapping, i cut the roll into 70cm x 50cm sheets and used my hand carved stamps to print my christmas design onto the paper. They were incredibly popular at local craft fairs! The paper was thick enough that the lino ink did not sink through or wrinkle the paper so it was absolutely worth every penny. This kraft paper roll is also very affordable. There are similar products about which are cheaper, however the quality is not even close. I will definitely be using the kraft paper roll from Hobbycraft next year!

Something is different and not in a good way
I regularly buy rolls of this kraft paper its perfect to create personalised gift wrap. In the past I have used acrylics and inks with no issues…always turns out. Beautifully. However, last week I purchased four rolls and set to work…but on opening it was very evident that the quality wasn’t up to the normal standard. It’s now much thinner and feels like a much cheaper paper. This new thinner version still takes standard ink stamping ok…with a little bleed through (you didn’t get this with the old rolls of paper)..but block printing with acrylics is now a no…paper is way too thin now and the acrylic patterns bleed right through and paper get’s crinkly. Such a shame. If you are planning on sticking accessories on it to jazz up your gifts…also be careful…old paper no problems…this new version doesn’t hold it and the glue leaks through. This paper is ok if you want plan wrapping to dress up with ribbons or string etc..just not up to normal quality

Poor Quality
I have always used kraft paper to wrap my gifts. I have been so very disappointed with the quality this 'new' kraft paper, it's like tissue paper. One touch and your finger is through it. Please go back to your old supplier!

Good quality and perfect for stamps
I chose this paper as I wanted recyclable paper to wrap birthday presents in. I was also looking for paper that was matt and could be stamped on. This paper was both good for wrapping and took the ink from the stamps well.

This is brown paper.
It is wrapping paper; it doesn’t do it automatically. I placed my gift on it and nothing happened at all.
It didn’t say it was manual wrapping paper.
Once over that hurdle it folded quite foldily and wrapped items. Sellotaping helped.
