Cute and unusual for Christmas decorations
The dome is sturdier than I thought it might be, the base is well finished and it accepts decorative finishes well (glue and acrylic paint used). The integrated light means there is more room inside to fit decorations. The space is quite roomy much larger than l thought. I was able to fit a small house made from the Tim Holtz paper village dies inside easily.

Great!
I would recommend this glass dome with light as it is well made and the glass is thick enough so that you don't feel afraid to handle it. I placed small small figures of the Holy Family and it looked just perfect. There are so many things you can put inside and display, not just for Christmas, for any occasion. I also think it is good value for money.

Bad quality control
Quality control was an issue. From the 4 received, 1 had something fused to the glass that is very noticeable, and another glass top does not fit the bottom. The light under is poor quality and allows the batteries to move, which makes the light stop working. They are fun to work with, but make sure you look at them before purchasing.

Great value
Love these glass domes. Great value and perfect for making unique Christmas decorations. Bought some last year and have just added a couple more to my collection! Really easy to add a snow base and some little elements to create a snowy scene that looks great when lit.

Simple but pleasing to construct.
I came into the store looking for an item/items to be of use to myself as I had a birthday gift voucher to use. I saw the craft workshop that was taking place involving the glass dome and I was inspired. The dome makes a lovely addition to my Christmas decorations.

Great to keep a 10 year old car fanatic busy
My 10 year old absolutely loved it, at first he thought it was going to be too hard for him to build, but with a bit of concentration he completed the project and he is very proud of himself 😊, he can't wait to start on a next one 👍

Pretty but not practical
The glass lid barely fits on the base, meaning unless you handle with SUPREME caution, it’ll just fall off and smash into a million pieces. Also the LED light is wonky. Definitely not worth the money.

Super cute and high quality glass dome
Perfect addition to my Christmas decorations - I've added a cute house and Christmas tree inside! The only thing I wish it had was a way to secure the glass dome down but other than that its perfect!
