This Lightcraft LED Headband Magnifier Kit makes close-up precision work easier than ever, enabling you to keep your hands free to work.

This fully adjustable headband includes four interchangeable optical lenses and detachable triple LED spotlight with a magnetic base. It'll be ideal for any kind of detail work, whether you're working on professional, craft or DIY projects.

The four lenses include 1.2x magnification at a 52-62cm working distance, 1.8x magnification at a 23-32cm working distance, 2.5x magnification at a 15-25.5cm working distance and 3.5 magnification at a 8-13cm working distance. The detachable spotlight creates a white light illumination to assist with providing a clear, close-up view.

They provide a range of magnifying strengths and interchangeable lenses with the ability to interchange between two strengths whilst working on a project due to the headband features. Easy to use and very comfortable to wear. Really good that it uses the AAA batteries rather than the lithium batteries as they are easier to source. Good value for money. Definitely making my cross stitching hobby easier and therefore able to progress projects quicker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LemonSquiggle from A magnifier strapped to your head The headband is made of plasic and can make your forehead sore after a while. I also find myself getting a bit dizzy after staring through the lenses for too long. I recommend frequent breaks for both reasons. Also, I had to insert a piece of cardboard into the battery compartment to keep the batteries from slipping out of position and the light flickering. The cover wouldn't quite close. My dad has a pair of these as well and his didn't have this issue. The light is very useful and I find using just the single highest magnification lense is plenty. Nice to have options though. I like them.

But I actually use my reading glasses & only a single lense. If there was anything I'd mention to others, I would suggest to also consider one that allows the lense to slide forward & back as having used this item I wonder if a sliding lense would have worked better than 2 separate fixed positions for my own needs. I am holding my model figures very close to my face & it can cause mistakes because I can'talways judge where my hand & brush are so occasionally catch the model with loaded brush

It’s a little heavy and the band can get a sweaty on the forehead but I’ll make a cotton/towelling band to make it more comfortable. Ultimately it’s very handy and I love that the magnifiers can be moved out of the way without having to remove the whole contraption. I also like the availability of the different strengths of magnification. It’s perfect being hands free.
