Bought as a substitute.
Hobbycraft had run out if their Charity Together for Short Lives ceramic tree baubles, which have been excellent for attaching detailed stitched decorations. My mum has made several. So I was forced to try something else. These Mache ones seemed like a good idea. However, after spending a long time cutting decorative paper into circles and long strips, (for the sides), and attaching with Double sided tape, they started to peel off, and I ended up ruining the paper, rescuing the stitching, and dumping the mache bases in the bin. Probably the lumpy finish made this happen as paper to paper with D/S tape usually works. I was not impressed.

Wonderful Christmas craft
My children just love decorating these. We have done so for the last three years. We use Posca acrylic pens to paint designs, then use Modge podge sparkle, once the paint has dried to set them and add some Christmas glitz. They look so good. We have had many Christmas craft parties and these have been a hit every time.

Excellent quality & value for money
I'll really fallen for these cute little mache baubles, altogether I've bought 15 (so far!) fabulous value, so versatile & ready to hang.
I've used them to create bespoke acrylic & posca pen festive designs, but you could really use them for anything, add glitter, dried florals, gilding flakes, or decoupage, endless creative possibilities & sturdy enough to last. Best of all for me, they're a paper based rather than using more plastic!

Great for kids and grown ups
These are great at little gifts to family members from the children I've just painted them white all over let him get paints and stickers and created his own baubles as a little gift to family members with a written message on the back
I also bought some for myself decorating with glitter and markers for some more decorations for the tree

Great example of creating memories
I bought 4 of these for my 2 kids and my nephews. They were only £1 each so it was a reasonably priced way of doing an activity where all the children were decorating the baubles for the Christmas tree.
They come in different shapes and I bought 2 tree shaped baubles for my children the next day.

Perfect Christmas Decoration
Decided not to buy commercial Christmas decorations this year, but to make my own, more personal decorations, My husband made our Christmas tree from MDF as we have cats that like to climb. So it made sense to have decorations that I could make. They've also helped me get my crafting mojo back!

Excellent for Christmas gifts
The mache hanging bauble decorations are really good quality and have been ideal for making fingerprint Christmas gifts for the grandparents. They have painted really well. Will be buying more to make gifts for next year too.

Fun times
My 7yr old loves creating his own decorations we did it for the first time last Christmas with another of the mache bauble range. It's so simple to do paint and glitter ... Even I can do it too.
