Great coastal decor craft
The lighthouse has a slightly different texture to the wood on one side which I really liked as it helped to create a distressed/shabby chic look when painted with acrylic paint which is exactly the look I wanted to achieve for my project. The light colour of the wood meant I didn't need to add too many layers of paint to my project.
