Sparkly Gloss
This paint is great fro kids who want to add gold sparkles to their paintings, or mix it with other paints for a shiny effect. However, the liquid in which the particles are suspended is highly transparent. I would not recommend buying this for painting anything as a metallic 'gold' colour, instead I;d recommend the acrylic gold paint which does a much better job.

Fab paint to use on Xmas projects
I used this paint to put a think layer onto Autumn leaves for a friend's wedding. The paint went on easily and although when wet it looked translucent, when it dried it had a good coverage and made the leaves a beautiful golden colour, while keeping the leaf detail. I was very pleased with the effect created and wish I could share a picture!

Great coverage!
I bought this paint as a substitute for gold spray paint, to cover brown cardboard boxes. I had my doubts about how effectively it would cover and show up as gold but it was excellent. I used 2 thin coats and obtained the desired effect. Another bonus is that it washes off skin with water - useful, as my seven year old was helping with the painting!

Nice colour, just not thick enough
So I purchased this paint to decorate the wooden sleigh for a photo shoot, the paint is nice but needs to be a bit thicker, coverage wasnt that good!

Could be thicker
It was a nice colour but I had to use two coats on a cardboard crown and that still didn’t cover it as well as I’d liked. I’d hoped that it would be slightly thicker. However it is a quite large bottle and it will be used for general kiddy paint projects.

Brilliant product and fantastic price
We started Decorating a lot of stones and were told acrylic paints were better however we used these as we had loads of stones to paint and would be quite pricey if using acrylics because of the quantity we needed and then just varnished the stones on top of the paint looks great

Over priced for the children's range
Last minute we were stuck for gold paint. This was the cheapest option in the child's range, however it's a large bottle, no other sizes available unfortunately. Took 4 coats over white paper to get the gold affect and was quite runny, Disappointing especially for the price.

Not a vibrant paint
To get the nice gold colour you need to thickly paint on but then if it’s on normal paper it goes soggy and takes an age to dry. Not at all like the vibrant red, blue and green paints. It just looks a bit dirty if you put a bit on the page. Children were really disappointed
