First ever attempt at needle felting!
Enjoyed making bee key ring, and came out well. Instructions needed some study to understand, but enough to get started along with watching some YouTube videos for confidence.
Pack contained plenty of wool for project, and some more too. Could have done with more needles (only x2 medium 38) supplied. Would have be better with one or two more and different sizes. (Yes I broke one within an hour of starting)
Would have been useful to have been supplied with a template to gauge size of shapes being made. Otherwise a really good starter kit.

Content great, Instructions incomplete and useless
I can't complain about the material you will receive with this kit. The sponge is a good size, the felting needles look good and you get a nice amount of felting wool. If you know felting and don't need instructions get it.
The instruction booklet, if you can call it that, is pretty much useless. The photos are too small. The photos don't explain what you are supposed to do if you never felted. I thought, I would get good instructions with it but I am still non the wiser. I really like what you can make with this kit but I will have to search for proper needle felting instructions to be able to make them.
It would have been so much better to have video instructions or a least a PDF for each figure with more explanatory photos. It's a shame because otherwise it would be a great kit.
Now once again my biggest issue is the packaging. Yes, everything is cardboard, apart from the plastic bag for the wool and the needles, but too much cardboard is not environmentally friendly either. The packaging consists of an outer sleeve, a box and a tray. 3 pieces of cardboard plus the glossy booklet. The box is too big for what is inside, if the instruction booklet was a PDF and/or videos the box could have been half the size, without tray and just a sticker front and back. I have looked at almost all of these kits and I would estimate 90% would get away with a smaller box if you ditched the booklet and have a downloadable PDF and/or video tutorials instead.
Like I said before, if you are already needle felting, do get it because what you can make is really cute. But it's nothing for beginners who will be left frustrated with the instructions.
