Massive let down.
I bought this as I always use Nielsen Massey's Vanilla paste so I thought I was getting a good product from a trustworthy brand. I was planning on using this for cupcakes for my son's Halloween party. Thank god I did a test run. Used 1/2 a teaspoon in my usual cake mixture which didn't produce much of a flavour but gave a unpleasant aftertaste. Used slightly more than 1/2 a teaspoon in regular buttercream mix which produced an overpowering synthetic taste with an absolutely disgusting aftertaste. Both amounts gave an vile, overly perfumed fragrance. Spilt a tiny bit in my cupboard and nearly a month later I still can't get rid of the smell. If you value your sense of smell/taste I wouldn't recommend. Pretty disappointed as it's been a waste of money, threw the rest in the bin.

I used this to make chocolate-orange flavoured desserts. I added 5ml for every 100g of 80% dark chocolate. Yummy.

Wow! This packs a punch
I purchased this on a whim to trial some orange flavored biscuits and wow! It doesn't smell strong but don't let that fool you. I only used a few drops and wow what a great taste! I had so many compliments and thanks to you guys I've had a few orders for my orange biscuits.

Worth the price
A natural fruit extract which gives a subtle flavour to your bakes with none of the artificial aftertaste of essences that cost a fraction of the price. A little goes a long way.

Nielsen Massey Pure Orange Extract
This flavouring is soooo good!!!! It is so strong and tastes so orangey, you barely need any to flavour a bit load of buttercream. I made chocolate orange macarons and they turned out so well because the buttercream tasted exactly like a Terry’s chocolate orange! It is a bit pricey compared to regular food shop flavouring but it is well worth the extra few £ and it will last so long. 11/10.

Costly but effective
Ridiculously expensive for Orange extract and the fact that I got Id’d for it was just crazy but the actual product is v effective. If the orange extract had been a more reasonable price I would have bought more
