This pack of Paper Stumps is perfect for smoothing and blending large areas of pastel or charcoal.

Made of tightly rolled paper, the stumps come in three sizes, which will enable you to work on different areas of your work. You can sharpen and clean your stumps when necessary.

These tools achieve such seamless blending effect that many artists consider these invaluable when drawing human skin, sky and other areas of the art piece that require a photo-like smoothness. The stumps are highly versatile. They can be used dirty, covered in your medium for halftones, shadowing and easy-to-erase soft lines; clean stumps are used for gradual lightening and blending.

This product has saved a lot of trouble with my GCSE art and I highly recommend this product as it saves time and leaves your art looking at a higher quality. I'm greatful that hobbycraft sells this product as it's realy good quality product and is affordable

They work well with charcoal and graphite specifically and these are the 2 mediums that I tend to use with them the most. They are comfortable to use as they are a great length and come in a variety of sizes. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
