Very useful
I am a beginner to crocheting and I found these really useful for marking along the "chain" to keep count. I also put one in the last stitch each evening, instead of leaving the hook in place, as I don't want the hook to fall out and drop stitches.

Pony Crochet Split Ring Stitch Marker
I normally use the plastic safety pin type row/stitch markers for my knitting but I find that because they are so brittle they break after being used a couple of time so I decided to give these a try and I must admit I am very impressed with the quality of them, no danger of them breaking when being moved up the knitting ( I use them for circular knitting) and they are easy to remove and attach without causing any snagging to my knitting.

Good idea in principle
Although this is a good idea,, they tend to
fall out easily.

Not the solution I hoped for
The benefit of these stitch markers are also their downfall. Id been struggling with the small safety pin style stitch markers as trying to use them one handed can be tricky, and I thought these would be the solution. To some extent they are, as they're much easier to add to your work, but this also means they can come out of your work easier. I was part way round a piece of crochet and the marker had worked it's way loose and dropped out. If you were a long way through a large piece of work, this would be incredibly unhelpful.

So glad I bought them, so useful.
This is the product I never knew I needed until I treated myself. They are so easy to use. Simply slip the end into the stitch you need to mark. Takes the guesswork out of where your first stitch of the round was. Especially useful when using fluffy or hairy yarn. I thought they looked a bit flimsy but not so, they are strong and flexible.

ABSOLUTELY USELESS
I bought Pony stitch markers as I thought they were a reliable make. They are absolutely useless. They just fall out so not fit for purpose. Wish I’d read the reviews, some from seven years ago. You were going to look at the design but obviously haven’t. What a waste of money!

So simple
I thought these looked useful as I was working on a crochet blanket made up of hexagons. They proved invaluable as it had been so difficult to match the corners, especially as most f the work was black. I have no idea how I ever managed without them

Quick & easy to use
Really pleased with my latest purchase. A simple item that makes such a difference. They are so much easier to use than bits of wool or safety pins. Quick & easy to attach to a stitch & quick easy to remove from a stitch.
