Hobbycraft, to the rescue
On Halloween weekend, I had Hunted high and low, for Copydex latex glue to create gruesome wounds on my children (rather inflict real cuts). Hobbycraft had some!!!!
For anyone else, layering up the Copydex is brilliant for amateur dramatics or dressing up. It runs off after, without ripping skin or hair off.

Great product
I've heard a lot of good things about this product and it's held up to it's reputation. Seems to stick anything I put it on. Doesn't crease and bubble paper as badly as PVA. smell is a little strong if that's an issue for you.

Does the job excellently
Always been a great fan of Copydex and it hasn't changed, still reliable and easy to use. Do be careful about letting it dry out, though.

Strong stuff
This is the first time I’ve used glue for textiles - used to reattach decorative braid around the edges of drawer fronts of on old dressing table. I was very pleased with how quickly the glue took hold, I thought I might have to hold it in place for a while. Very impressed.

A reliable old glue.
Still great for all the traditional uses.
However, I bought this to act as a mask when spraying models - ideal!
Watch out for the ammonia smell!
