Not the greatest
Lovely colour, truly gold. I believe the paint is odourless. It's edible, but tastes of chemicals and it's not a pleasant taste at all. I used it on some solid icing and once set, it was not too dominant but I could still taste it (in a bad way). It rolled and separated on white icing where the surface was not perfectly even. It was great to use to decorate small areas, looked particularly great on dark icing; I've gone for some thin gold lines with a small paint brush and it looked really good. Not so good at painting bigger surfaces, or just need more skill.

Pleased with this product.
Nice gold colour .for Harry Potter book cake. But found I had to apply three coats to get a good coverage on snitch and wand .

It's good enough but I won't buy it again
I used this to paint a unicorn horn made from sugarpaste on a birthday cake. Initially it looked like it was going to be great, but actually it was a bit runny and needed several coats with drying periods in between as trying to touch up the streaky bits ended up removing paint already on there. Maybe it's ok if you have plenty of time but I didn't so it wasn't ideal! It got the job done good enough but I'll be looking for a better one next time.

Fab paint!
This is a great paint - it's thick coverage and easy to use. For a large area, I paint a couple of thin coats of this, then use a pump action spray dust to finish and hide brush marks.

Paint is true to colour. You maybe need a few coats but it looks fab once dried
