Easy to use
Some advice on the packet about using a little icing sugar on work surface etc would b good on the packet. (Thankfully i did know that) but i still got a little sticky at times. At one point i had to leave what i was doing and thought it would dry out if i left it uncovered. So i covered it with a t towel for about 45 mins but when i got back to it it was wet and sticky. Mayb a little moisture in the t towel? And the oven had been on also so mayb heat in kitchen although wasnt that warm? I did manage to rework it with some icing sugar and it was mostly usable again. Overall good product.

No product problems but........
Having purchased a pack of "dark blue" icing when home I noticed the small lettering on the back saying it was purple.
I returned it to the store to be told food products could not be returned. Ok but it was unopened and I pointed out that the blue and purple were next to each other and their difference particularly under shop lighting is not that apparent. I suggested they could be display separately hoping they could be easier identified - this has not happened.
I have never been disappointed in hobbycraft service wherever I have used them over many years.

Easy to use, great results

Wrong colour
Thought I had picked up navy paste but when I got home just happened to spot print at back said deep purple. Exchanged it for navy but have another one to exchange which I thought was red but turned out to be Fuschia pink. Purchased at same time but won’t make same mistake again. Need to show clearly on front of packet exact colour!

Good and bad
I love renshaws icing but I've never used this colour. I was quite disappointed with it as once it had dried it was totally different to what I was expecting. I looked almost dirty. Never had a problem with renshaws icing before but I won't be buying purple again

A great finish
I was a bit apprehensive on using dark fondant but Renshaws are always great for their products.. rolling it out with a bit of trex gives it a great finish and my cake was a great success.. I will be recommending it on my sugarcraft group x

Perfect colour
I wanted to decorate a cake in deep purple to celebrate September recovery month. It's impossible to try to add purple colour to a basic white icing, it just produces a pale lilac colour.rhe Renshaws icing was perfect and reasonably priced
