Great for lots of things!
I think this is a great product. It turns easily and smoothly on the base and the rubber on the bottom prevents it slipping or moving on the worktop.
We didn't buy this as a cake decorating tool but actually use it for spray painting model tanks and cars as it is much bigger (And cheaper) than the ones sold for that purpose! However I think it can be used in a number of ways and is robust and sturdy. Great product :)

Really good for a low cost turntable
This turntable is really good for such a low cost - a heavier one, with metal parts and ball bearings might have a bit more ability to keep spinning when you let go, but given how light this one is, I think it's very good. It's made it possible for me to produce professional looking cakes, so I'm very happy with it.

Love this handy cake decorating turntable!
Sturdy with a very fluid rotation, combined with a nice strong non-slip base, makes decorating really easy. A must have for amatures and pros.
My only suggestion would be the addition of a non-slip coating on the top to stop the cake board moving. Although this is remedied with a couple of balls of rolled fondant.

Great little turn table.
Only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I think it just needs some form of grip on the top as you’d need to put a cake board on there to do bigger cakes and as you spin it around, the board slides everywhere. Other than that it’s a great turn table. My first and I’d recommend.

Excellent buy!
I bought this not expecting a lot as the last plastic one I bought was rubbish. What a fabulous surprise! It works like a dream and turns smoothly. You do need to make sure you put something down under the cake drum before use or it may slide off. Would recommend!

It's very smooth turning, and has a non slip base, but the plastic plate of the turntable has a dome in the middle which means flat cake boards wobble around like nobody's business. Makes it impossible to use, so I get round this by putting the cake board on a dinner plate which can stand more firmly because of the rim on the underneath. However, that does limit the size/shape of cake board I can use (max 8 inch, and has to be round). Would have returned if I hadn't needed to use it straight away.
