Works but...
Not bad. The synthetic sponges were about what you would expect. I was very disappointed in the large sea sponges. Description did state they were large which is a primary reason why I chose the set. What arrived was two tiny sea sponges.
To be honest they looked like the sad off cuts of a larger piece. The kind you would find on the floor after working on a project.
They did work and achieve their purpose. However just be aware, the synthetic sponges are the largest and the other four will only be useful for small compositions.

Different textures
Just started painting again after 50+ years! Your product gives me a different dimension for me to experiment with and having alternative sponges I am able to create great textures. Forgot how enjoyable this hobby was and quality plus price helps me even more

Perfect texture
When I got these sponges I was looking for a certain texture for my artwork. I wasn’t sure if they would work but then they proved me wrong!!! These sponges gave me the perfect texture that I was looking for. They are amazing.

Good and easy to use
The sponges are percent for using on canvas or paper but I would suggest rinsing the sponges through a couple of times before using for the first time to soften and ‘break them in’ to make the paint apply better. I’m really happy with the tones the sponges bring to my artwork, they are exactly what I wanted.
