It does vanish, but doesn't work well on so many fabrics
The pen does exactly as it says. The ink fades away to invisible like magic! Unfortunately it's really poor at marking fabrics in the first place. I've only found one or two fabrics that it can mark with any degree of usefulness.

Ok
This isn’t bad. I currently use chalk but don’t like to wash it of so thought I’d give this a try. It just vanishes to quickly for me. By the time I’ve drawn what I need I go back to cut and my first line has gone

Nice and fine for delicate work.
Have found it best to only use on a small area at once as does tend to disappear quite quickly but a hot day so this may be the reason as this is the pen I always use.

Does what it says - vanishes
This is great if you want to mark something then use that marking quickly. It really does just vanish in minutes rather than hours

Great idea, but bad application.
It was okay, I was drawing lines and before I even finished doing that one line it had already vanished. I then tried to go faster and it being a pen wouldn't get the ink out fast enough. So every line you do it instantly pretty much disappeared (the fabric I was cutting was just a quarter so nothing large and I only did three lines on the quarter, then went to cut it out and it was already vanishing.

Just what I was looking for
What I learnt as a new sewer. This was the second pen I’d bought, but the first one was too thick and too blue. It just didn’t sit easily on my embroidery/blackwork and it put me off using it. This has a great fine line and a subtle colour that you can use as pale or dark as you need. It also marks the line of sewing without being so thick that it blurs the correct line.

Great idea but not so great in reality
I loved the idea of disappearing ink when trying to mark fabric as chalk can be a nightmare.
However, I am a little disappointed as whilst the purple line does disappear it is really hard work putting the mark on the fabric as it is as though the pen is running out. Maybe I should have returned it as possibly it was fault. Great idea with perseverance.

useless
I used this pen to outline a small design for embroidery but the designed vanished straight away before I had done more than a few stitches! I tried again the next day and this time the pen was completely dry and would not make a mark despite the fact that I had been careful to replace the cap. A very disappointing purchase.

Easy to use
This pen is very easy to use, however I found that it did disappear quite quickly, I was using it to embroider a name on fabric and had to go back over it a couple of times so I could see what I was doing. However it is perfect as I don't need to wash the fabric afterwards to get the pen out

Perfect for doodle stitching
I use this item in a children's sewing club, we use it for drawing designs to stitch. The children love the fact that the ink disappears making their pictures look very professional! Great product - works really well and even better it has recently been in the half price offers. Brilliant.

So easy to use
Ilove using these markers. So easy to use and knowing that I do not have to do anything to remove the line is great. I find them a great help for keeping a straight line when I am machine sewing. Also when I am writing on fabric they last long enough to sew over and then vanish.

Disappointed
I bought an air erasable pen, it was reduced to £2 from £4, however it hasn't lasted very long. The ink vertually ran out after a second application. I went and bought another and its almost the same. These obviously don't have a long shelf life, so my own fault I suppose.

Fairly good colour
This marking pen is a good colour but disappointing as within minutes the marking disappears. You have to be really quick to quilt your pattern when using it or else you lose the marking completly.
It says wash off with water but it does not get this far as it disappears

Works well
The line was clear when applied, and vanished completely from white background fabric within 24 hours; I did a test wash and it didnt reappear.
I have heard that lines reappear with heat on this sort of product but I haven't tested that - my quilt is cold wash, no iron.

Useless, marks scarcely visible.
This is very disappointing. The marks are scarcely visible when first used, even on white fabric. Marks fade away, it's true , but it's useless as the lines etc cannot be seen only moments after use. Not expensive certainly, but a total waste of money.

Was not impressed
The pen is supposed to last 48 hours before ink disappears. I was using it on my interfacing but was disappearing before my eyes. Totally vanished within 5 mins. Reapplied but happened again. Don't know what it is like on any other fabric.

Brilliant - highly recommend
Brilliant. I use this a lot for my quilting and produces an excellent result. The ink disappears after, at most, 24 hours. Allows you to do complex designs and straight lines. The fine line is just the right width to be seen and useable.

Very fine tip air fade pen.
I was pleased to find this air erasing pen for my patchwork quilting projects but was disappointed when I used it. You have to really press hard to see any mark and it fades almost immediately. I fear that it will dry out very quickly.

Not as good as I thought
I bought this instead of the pencils thinking it would do the same job on getting home with it I drew around my template but the ink disappeared before I had chance to cut it out I had to go back the next day and get the pencils

Not the right tool for the job
Unfortunately it does not work on felt. I bought this because the cheaper heat-erasable markers were not in stock, in spite of saying they were when I checked online, so all in a all a wasted journey and a waste of money.

Write like a spy!
Fantastically easy product to use, does exactly what it says on the packet. Dry to clear time is just less than the 48 hours listed, so work fast. But other than that it clears from fat quarters cleanly and efficiently.

Fantastic quality!
Worked really well. Was sceptical as is bought lots of these kind of pens before and they'd never worked on felt. This one did! Was visible enough to cut and disappeared withing a couple of minutes. Would recommend!

Useless - faded almost as fast as I applied it
Very dry pen. Was using it to mark out a pattern for a rag doll. Drew round an arm, which was a challenge in itself because the pen was so dry, put down the pen, picked up the scissors and the line was almost gone.

Okay pen
A good fabric pen, doesn't stain at all which is great and buildable in opacity. However it does disappear too quickly. Probably better used for smaller sewing projects rather than large scale or longer projects

Life saver
This pen is a life saver for me, I use it mainly for free hand machine embroidery. I draw my image out first then sew over the lines and the pen vanishes or washes off therefore no one will ever know. So useful!

Disappears too quickly
Was hoping to use this for quilting lines, but unfortunately markings disappeared before I could start sewing so had to mark over again in pencil. This was only on a piece of fabric 14" square so not a big piece

Good for small, intricate tracing on sewing projects
This product is good for very fine tracing, and gives a precise line whenever you need it. I actually accidentally picked this up instead of the slightly thicker tip but it is a very good pen. Would recommend.
