Perfect for beginners
I bought two of these to go with a Mapac A3 Black academy case I’ve bought for my son.
The paper seems fine for a beginning artist or a child but if you’re an artist who has drawn for a long time I would pay extra and get quality paper. It’s ok to draw on but not fantastic quality which is expected at such a low price.
My son (9) will think it’s great considering he normally draws on normal a4 sheets of standard paper. Excited to see how he draws on some sketch paper!

Exactly what I was after
After using A4 sketchbooks I wanted something bigger to allow for larger paintings and prints. The paper works wonderfully with oil paint which I initially was worried about, I personally don't use thinner for my oil paints and yet I found it easy to glide the paint over the page and not have any patches or marks left behind. The only issue I find is that the paint seeps through the page-not so that it stains the page underneath but rather stains the other side of the painted page. I think that's due to the thick consistency of the oil paint so if using pencil or charcoal etc you should be ok. Improvements could be to supply more pages in the book as I don't feel there's enough, but that depends on how fast or slow you get through it. Overall, I'd purchase again.

Fantastic quality sketchbooks
I’ve purchased 12 of these sketchbooks since September last year because they are perfect for my art course. The quality of the sketchbook is fantastic; there’s plenty of pages; paper is a great thickness as I can paint and use permanent markers and it doesn’t go through to the other side and they are also super lightweight which is great as I have to carry 3 of them everyday. I will continue buying these throughout my 2 year course.

Perfect for the purpose
We got it to stick all the art work of my son from school. Its perfect. Fits all the paper sizes he brought from school. Pages are of good quality and my son really likes the black cover on which he can make a chalk picture.

Excellent paper
Love these sketchbooks. I bought several. They are a reasonable price for a quality product - nice thick paper. I would not have bought this without checking it out first online though. Would not have paid more either.

Good value for money
With such a low price point and reasonable quality of paper, this is great for quick sketches, warmups and prep work. Although it's bound together it tears out cleanly as well which is a bonus.

I always buy one of these when starting an art project for trying out ideas. The paper is good enough for sketching and mixed media ( as long as not too wet) also for display .

Good quality for the price
This is a good quality sketchbook for the price. It is lightweight and fits nicely in to A3 cases. Would recommend to students and people who enjoy sketching out and about.
