The Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 Model Kit is a plastic model kit in the Tamiya 1:24 car model kits range, Subaru having entered the Impreza into the World Rally Championships in 1997.
That year, equipped with a powerful horizontally opposed four-cylinder turbo engine, the Impreza secured the Manufacturer’s Title for Subaru. In 2001, the Impreza adopted a four-door sedan body and showed itself at the Monte Carlo Rally. The car’s unique appearance was highlighted by small compound headlights, spoiler attached to the extreme rear and blister-style fenders.
Tamiya has a reputation for detail and accuracy and the Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 model kit is a perfect example of this.
