The Tamiya Suzuki ECSTAR GSX-RR Model Kit is a plastic model kit in the Tamiya 1:12 motorbike model kits range, having won the Moto GP 2020 championship.
Celebrating 60 years since its first ride into motorcycle racing with the Moto GP championship, Suzuki celebrated 2020 as the centenary of its establishment. The ECSTAR, named after Suzuki’s high-spec engine oil brand, features a blue and silver scheme inspired by GP models from the 1960s.
Since its 2015 debut, the Suzuki ECSTAR employed a 1000cc, water-cooled 4-stroke inline 4 engine capable of 340km/h maximum speed and aerodynamic form.
Tamiya has a reputation for detail and accuracy and the Suzuki ECSTAR model kit is a perfect example of this.
