Excellent daylight floor lamp in price and quality
I have been after a good daylight floor lamp for months. I have looked at many, reading the reviews and thought I'd have to invest in one of those very expensive lamps which I couldn't afford. I'd had a look on HC's website and read the reviews for the Twin Daylight Floor Lamp, and decided to go for it. It was easy to assemble, and the brightness is amazing. I can actually see what I'm doing, even unpicking tiny stitches on black fabric! Would absolutely recommend this lamp, especially for sewing, reading, embroidery, anything which requires good light to work by. It cost a fraction of the price of the other lamp i thought I'd need.

Good and bright.
Purchased to replace old lamps. Each of the lamps is independent of the other, one can be on the other one off. They are touch responsive to turn on and there are 4 levels of brightness. Touch once for the lowest the again for the next level of brightness and so on. You can do this with each lamp independent of the other. I use it for model making and water colour painting. I find the twin lamps perfect for working on small items as the twin lights reduced the shadows cast. It is a floor standing lamp and the base keeps it very steady. This is probably the best lamp I have purchased.

Great light
This was a good bit cheaper than the light I went in for, they compared very similarly. I love this light, it doesn’t take up much room and is very sturdy. The light is great, I mostly use it when doing my embroidery in the evening and usually only need one of the arms lit. I used both arms for sewing black on black and it was perfect. I also bought one for my Mum who only has sight in one eye and she can now see well enough to sew in the evening with the aid of this light. It has a decent length lead too.

Believe the hype - it is as good as you could want
I was a little sceptical that this lamp could be so effective for such a low price but it truly lives up to its positive reviews. I haven't needed to use both lights at the same time yet which is quite an achievement for a gloomy winter's day in Northern England! Knowing that I can enjoy my sewing without eyestrain is such a bonus and I am so glad I bought this lamp.

Wish I’d bought it sooner!
Very easy to assemble, lamps are really bright and adjustable (4 levels) plus being able to use one or both together is helpful as is the fact you can spread the lamps apart so spreading light over a wider area depending on what you need. Great price and easy order/collection process.

Great light.
Easy to assemble. Light weight. Doesnt take up much room. The lights themselves are bendy so you can angle them where needed. You can use one or both lights independently. They have 4 brightness levels and you just tap the end of the light arm to operate.

Excellent light
Excellent light, perfect for all my hobbies when I need to do detailed work. Slim so it fits between chairs and coffee table or next to my sewing machine. Good heavy base so no fear of knocking over. Unobtrusive design.
