Really annoyed!
I make and seek cards and have been using the hobby craft 6x6 inch cards for years… they appear to have changed the supplier and these card are bigger than the ones they’ve always sold, consequently I have had to reconfigure all my designs before printing and the card no longer fit in the cellophane envelopes (sold separately) of which I have loads of stock of! Also difficult to fit in the card envelopes I send my cards out in. This change has cost me a lot of time and money. VERY disappointed that hobbycraft didn’t think about the impact they are having on small businesses by doing this! Won’t be shopping here again.

Envelopes are too big
I have recently purchased a pack of 6x6 cards and the envelopes are now much bigger than they used to be... they no longer fit in the 6x6 cello bags (which I also purchased a new pack of) and are sold next to them in the shop and advertised online as the product to buy with the cards! I have always chosen Hobbycraft card blanks for my card making, as well as the matching cello bags but now am not able to use the two together. This is still an issue now but I have seen that the reviews about this started months ago... and they are still being sold and advertised together. It's so frustrating for everyone who has always used Hobbycraft as their go-to craft shop!

DON’T BUY
I purchased 4 packs of these..upon opening them, each packet of the envelopes was stuck together. I had to drive 20 miles to get an exchange from in store - the staff had to go through their stock to try and find packs that wasn’t stuck! Seriously- Hobbycraft is going down hill

Poor quality batch and too large for packing
I would previously order the 5x7" and 6x6" card and envelope sets, and use them with the "matching" cellophane sleeves. Unfortunately, Hobbycraft has stopped stocking the original brand in favour of an own brand.
The envelopes are much thinner and all stick in the same place, causing them to tear, no matter how careful you may be. They are also far too large to fit in the cellophane sleeves, which are supposed to match.
The cards are lower quality than the original style, and as they are larger, you have to adjust your printer settings to make sure a design is centered, this seems like a small inconvenience, however, across many designs this causes a large amount of time lost.
I am very dissapointed, and would have had to go out of my way for a refund, which wasnt worth the money spent travelling, so have kept them and will use for product mockups/drafts, but will not purchase again.

Try before buying!
Nice card blanks but do not fit in the 6 x 6 cellophane covers bought to place the made cards in. Resulted in another half hour journey to get refund. The staff confirmed after measuring them that the cards are too big for the cellophane covers , try before buying .

Do not buy!
Bought multiple packs and with everything single pack every single envelope was sealed in the same place so unusable and had to return. Replacements were sent and they had the same issue and had to be returned so obviously a manufacturing issue with the ‘new design’
