Beautiful soft texture - but watch the yarn length when substituting for another yarn
I love the beautiful vibrant colours available and struggled to choose just two colours for my daughters. It is beautifully soft - and doesn't lose this quality when knitted. Feels far more luxurious than the price would imply.
One warning though. I substituted this for the yarn in the pattern - the tension guide was the same - and my tension is perfect. However ... rookie error ... I didn't check the length of the yarn in the 100g ball, which meant that I required five balls instead of the three the pattern required. (amazing to me that in all my decades of knitting for my family, and regularly substituting yarns, I have never come across this before - lesson learned!)
Yes I'd definitely use it again - but have learned from my mistake and will check yarn length as well as tension gauge.

Lovely yarn but with some packing issues
I have used this yarn in many different colours for machine knitting and had never had any problem until I used this particular colour and a particular lot where I found several balls where the labels had been glued differently from usual and tiny bits of paper stuck to the yarn. That was a nuisance that I reported and the matter was acknowledged by Hobbycraft.
It may be useful to note that other colours that I bought on the same day and the previous week had no problem.
It remains a lovely yarn to knit with.

Great yarn
I always try to use this yarn it really is soft, silky and easy to use. As a buy 2 get 1 free it is really good value. I use it for crochet mainly blankets and it always has great stitch definition and shows your work well. I absolutely recommend this yarn.

winter style
I have made several scarves [for gifts] using this yarn, they have always been well received and I have had requests for them. I have also made a baby blanket as the yarn is very soft and suitable for a babys sensitive skin.

Lovely finish
Moved onto 4 ply as I was knitting up too fast in dk,Aran, chunky.Bought this for no better reason than it was on 3 for 2, so a bargain.
Knits up beautifully with a tight even finish.
Other people have found that the plies split, but I haven’t found this to be the case, ( and I knit without looking)…especially nice to find 4 ply in grown up colours other than sock yarn..more colours please….let down slightly by lack of adult 4 ply patterns

Good value
This is good value, especially with the 3 for 2 offer, and the colour seems to be pretty consistent between batches. But do make sure when buying, to check each ball of yarn is not stuck to the ball band, since the adhesive they use to fasten the ball band together sometimes sticks to the actual yarn, and if you pull it off, you are left with lots of tiny bits stuck to the yarn.

Great product, reasonably priced
I had been knitting socks and had small quantities of yarn left in several colours. I wanted to use them up making a striped pair and wanted another colour to knit the cuffs, heels and toes. The yarn knitted easily and the silky finish looks good.
Only small problem is that the labels on this brand sometimes get stuck to a few strands of yarn, which is annoying.
