Lovely and soft
In all my years as a knitter I have never come across a ball of wool that was so tangled, I had to rewind the whole 400 gms, very frustrating. I have another two to use so hope they are not the same

Lovely to work with
This yarn is lovely and soft and smooth. It's really nice to crochet with, and has a good colour range.
The only thing I find annoying is how the yarn is wound into balls. I found 5 random pieces of yarn in with the main yarn strand in one ball, 4 in another, the yarn had some knots in and breaks in the yarn at various lengths in 2 of the balls in this purchase. All 3 balls were rather knotted in places which took some time to sort out!
I've found this before with this yarn, but once that's sorted, it's a lovely yarn to work with, great value and the colours are lovely.

Hobbycraft aran yarn 400g
Love using this aran yarn. It’s silky and extremely easy to work with. I’ve made several Afghan blankets with this as
it’s my go to yarn for big projects. Just ordered 6 more for a blanket that’s going to be gifted to my sister in law for her 26th anniversary.

This yarn is very comfortable to knit with.
I bought this yarn in red on a three for two offer when in store one visit. I made an Aran jumper for my granddaughter when she was seven. Her mother loved it so much she had one as well. Then 2 year old granddaughter had a jumper in the light grey, which is a lovely colour and now her mum, my daughter, has been converted to Aran jumpers and that will be my next project. They all look very smart once knitted and show no signs of bobbling.

value for money
Purchase in three colours; grey, blue and red. Even knitting with two stands the three balls of grey I purchased completed; three infinity scarves, four adult hats, two novelty beards and 20 premature baby hats. The resulting projects were warm and of high quality. Haven't washed these items yet so do not know how they will hold up. Washed the items I made in the red and blue yarn to remove extra fibres and they survived without any distortion. Time will tell about the colour retention. Overall I was happy with my purchase.

A pleasure working with this product
When knitting with this wool I found it easy and pleasant to work with. The wool has a sheen which makes it feel and look soft and luxurious. The finished garment is beautiful to look at and to the touch. I have made two Aran garments and am now on a third using this beautiful wool.

Lovely yarn
This yarn knits beautifully. It’s nice and soft and comes in a number of lovely colours. I chose a silver grey colour which has a subtle sheen to it and am very pleased with the result. Great value too!
