Beautiful colour, yarn thickness is inconsistent.
Beautiful colour and crochets up easily. My only criticism is the same as my only other Women's Institute Yarn purchase (400g 100% Acrylic Ball) so far, the thickness of the yarn is not consistent. Keeps going from normal thickness to thin constantly, sometimes going thicker, it's super frustrating. Thankfully it's not as noticeable with the particular stitch I'm using as my last project where I had to cut out the thinner section and re-do. At this price though I expect consistency, I'm tolerating it due to the 3 for 2 offer. In the first 100g ball I've had two knot joins already.

Beautiful colour
Great yarn works really well with my aluminium and wooden crochet hooks.
The yarn is good quality and does not snag.

Reasonably priced wool.
Bought the wool for crocheting a blanket. Lovely colour, 100% wool.
Not very soft, but a strong fibre.

wool at last
this answered my search when looking for a 'wool' yarn. Knits well, and looks good for garment.

British wool!
It's lovely to see a wool product on the shelves that was made in the uk and 100% from British wool in an era that means that british wool is vastly underused! It's a wonderful product, soft for being an undisclosed sheep breed and the colour range is rich. If you love a jewel tone, this range has some lovely stuff

Knit something cosy to brighten up grey days
I chose this wool because I love the colour and hope to knit a cosy cardigan for myself...once I find a suitable pattern. I like the price being 3 for 2 and more especially the wool being pure wool and home grown. When I was wee attempting my first knit the teacher said to look for the pure wool mark. I still do.It keeps in shape wash after wash, money and time well spent.
