Poorly Constructed
I bought this wooden candlestick to act as a base for a homemade cake stand. At first glance, it was the perfect structure for what I had in mind and I set about painting it immediately. The wood is a lovely quality and took acrylic paint perfectly with just one coat. However, when I came to attach the top of my cake stand, I noticed it sat at an odd angle and that the candlestick would not support a flat surface. With a tape measure, I realised the bulbous ring part of the stick, just above the base, was 6mm deeper towards one side, meaning anything placed on it would lean to an angle.

Perfect for what we needed them for
Loved these, needed 26, managed to get 7, but then shipped around several stores and finally managed to get them all; are there being discontinued or just popular??

This is a great purchase and am looking forward to decorating it, to make a gift for a friend. I love your shop and do so enjoy wandering round. When my friend who takes me there, ask what I want to see, I always answer: EVERYTHING!

Made them into hat stands
Was looking for a quick and simple solution for my hat stand at a wedding showcase. These candle stick holders were perfect and I added a little weight at the bottom to keep them stable. The quality of the wood is fab, all neutral and sanded down nicely. Will be buying more x
