Be aware what you are getting
It's great to see that this sort of product is stocked catering for model makers. It's quite hard to find it other than online. The contents is comprehensive and useful for those starting in dioramas. If you already have some of the basics then best top up with accessory packs. However this kit does not come with a base. It does mention this in very small print on the box. Worse still my branch of Hobbycraft doesn't have the base in stock. Overall a very expensive way to show off your model. Oh there's no indication of scale so good luck working out what model to use.

Unfortunately you cannot begin until you have made another purchase of a mounting board which are not stopped by hobbycraft. A bit disappointing really

Very effective for a diorama novice
I came across this kit whilst Googling and was pleased to find 'hobbycraft' as a UK supplier. It is a really good starter kit with clear instructions and I have managed to produce an effective backdrop to a model car I have just bought. The only negative thing I would mention is that there is no mention of the scale
(of the trees mainly) but guess it is equivalent to OO railway gauge (I really needed 1:24 scale)

Landscape kit
Nice set for Making a landscape. But it didn’t say on front of The box that the base wasn’t included and was available separately. But kit works well on wood.

An okay product but not perfect.
The box gave the impression that a base was included (it may have been on the small print) and could easily have been so for the price. The tiny pot of sticky putty used for the trees was a solid mass so unuseable but by that time we had opened everything. Apart from that it was a workable kit.

Everything you need to build a greenery scene
Lovely kit. It has all the bits you need to build a greenery scene. Add their rock kit for a fabulous set. It’s quite a lot of money but still feel it’s good value.

Fantastic starter kit!
I am new to building with sceneArama but it is a great starter kit if you wish to get into building with them, they offer a cheap on price but not in glory kit where you can fully customise your own scenery and create to your hearts content!

Very easy everything you need to build your own miniature scene very realistic it's unbelievable you can creat almost any scene you can think of your imagination is the only limit I would strongly recommend this for kids or adults alike
