Do the job well
These glazier points work well (need to buy the application tool). I've been using them for a number of years and very happy with the results.

Glazing points
I am a papercutter and whenever I sandwich mount (between two sheets of glass) a finished piece of work I use these points because they are easy to fit but hold the glass really tightly within the frame. So much better than the thin metal tags that come ready fitted in the frames. I also fit them when generally framing anything for peace of mind. Great product.

no more broken finger nails
Having broken many retainer clips and probably the same number of finger nails, I used these after spotting them perusing the Hobbycraft website. Very simple to use, very secure and simple to replace and/or reuse.

Easy to use
Securing a backing cover is so easy with these. I use a small block of wood to push them into place.
They can be quickly and simply removed with a flat screwdriver blade.
This is the third pack I have used.

An essential but mundane product
Yes well, a product for those of us at the halfway point in the picture framing world. Straightforward to use and increases the seal between the glass & the frame to keep out insects and dust.

Best product available for framing paintings as the points are easy to locate and don't slip.
Material used doesn't tarnish or mark even after a long period of time.
