The Aqua Dragons Deluxe Deep Sea Habitat bring you real, live aquatic creatures that you can hatch and grow. Their scientific name is Artemia Salinas, and they have been living in the sea and salty lakes for millions of years.
From the crustacea family, Aqua Dragons look like tiny three eyed, long tailed, hairy headed dragons that grow up to 2cm long. Their eggs have an amazing capacity called cryptobiosis which means they can dry out and stay alive only to hatch many years later.
Aqua Dragons Deluxe contains everything you need to get started including an LED illuminated aquarium, preserved eggs, food, pipette, magnifier, feeding spoon and full instructions. Just add water and they miraculously hatch within just two to three days. Initially your hatchlings will be microscopic but, within five to seven days, you’ll be able to see them.
This deluxe kit has the added bonus of beautiful blue LED lights in the base of the tank and a magnifier to observe your hatchlings.
