Aquabeads would be good for an older child, my grand-daughter is 5/6 and she had difficulty keeping the beads in place, even I thought it was time consuming if you touched a place bead it just jumped out. My grand-daughter became fed-up at this happening she gave up on doing the picture figure.

So pretty
We bought this for my 6 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She spends hours creating lovely aqua bead princesses. We are so pleased with the product that we’ve bought more kits for her friends as gifts for Christmas
